Mallory (actually she was still Baby Fred at the time) got this cool rocking horse from Rick’s Aunt Sharon & Uncle Gary at one of our baby showers. They made it for her and it has a blue & yellow “M” on the side – not quite a block M, but what do you expect from those Buckeyes? And I am not convinced that there isn’t a hidden scarlet & grey O on it somewhere…
Anyway, Mallory has sat on it a few times and let me rock her but today she figured out how to make it go on her own.
Look out.

On a personal note – I got to go scrapping today! I felt like a loser going by myself but in a way it was probably good to not have any distractions…I did a whopping 2 pages. Let me explain.
I have had my sights set on the Cricut diecut machine. They are usually $200+ and the font cartridges are like $70. I have resisted getting into stamping (I didn’t want all of my pages to have the same fonts) and as much as I like sticker or rub-on letters, you always end up running out of the letters you need. But the Cricut lets you make letters from 1″ up to 5.5″ and on any paper you want. AND each cartridge has 5 different versions of the font (shadow, etc). AND my scrapbook store rents the font cartridges!
So I was talking to the gal at my scrapbook store and decided that I wanted to get one but my store doesn’t sell them so I thought I’d have to wait until I could find a cheap one online or something. Then two women came in and said that Hobby Lobby has them on sale for $169. The closest Hobby Lobby was 45 minutes away, so I spent 2 hours of my whole day of scrapping driving to Adrian & back. But it was sooooo worth it. I have so many almost done pages in my scrapbooks – most just need journaling and a title – I am hoping that my new fancy Cricut will help me get caught up!!
we should scrapbook together sometime – although i will have to wait til my next baby cause i just ifnished jacks one year and i dont have the energy to do any more!@!!
