rick put mallory in her exersaucer today and turned around to start making himself some lunch. he came back to check on her a minute later and found her passed out in her seat. rough life, eh? maybe the time change screwed her up.
yesterday we had a playdate with one of my pre-natal yoga moms and her husband and their 7-mo old son Kyle. jen & i actually went to college together and ran into eachother at the yoga class (embarrasing for me because for as good as my memory is with regard to numbers and dates i am sometimes bad with faces & names and it took me half of the class to put it all together and remember who she was…in my defense, college was a long, long time ago). anyway, we had a fun visit with them. jen & ed’s basement is a memorabilia lover’s dream, and ed is actually a huge pete rose fan. i think rick fell in love. hahaha.
i think rick is sick of me asking “remember how we used to have to give her baths in the sink? remember how little she was? remember when she could fit into (insert whatever cute outfit that she only got to wear once)?” i am so afraid that i am going to forget how she was when she was my little pumpkin head.
we have her 4-month check-up this week and i can’t wait to see how she measures height & weight-wise. and as fun as it would be to start her on rice cereal and other solids, i think the doctor will have us wait until she’s 6 months. we did have her drink out of a regular cup today but she wasn’t a big fan of the water we tried to give her so it ended up down her shirt. oops.
that is so adorable- jack barely fits in his, his little legs don’t touch the floor – it is so fun to read what other people/parents are doing with their babies – thanks for posting!!! i hope the check-up went well, jack went from 50-25 in weight and still hovers around the 90th in height – but i hear the charts are really for formula fed babies -i think you are nursing??
