Mallory likes her Gerber Biter Biscuits. On my sister’s recommendation, we have learned that it buys us a few minutes in her high chair while we get our dinners ready. However, as you can see, it makes a big ole mess. You can also see that she doesn’t care that she’s a big ole mess. We had to do a pre-soak before bath time and even then I don’t think I got all of the cookie off her face (click on the picture for a bigger version).
Her half-birthday is on Sunday and her next doctor’s appointment is Tuesday. We weighed her the other day and she 16 lbs!! She has mastered rice & oatmeal cereal, and we’ve introduced bananas, peas, carrots & green beans. I am worried about when she starts eating what we eat since Rick & I aren’t big vegetable eaters. I don’t know how we are going to make her eat her peas and carrots if her dad doesn’t eat them! I can at least tolerate a couple of bites of most veggies but not Rick. His idea of vegetables? Corn with a lot of butter and carrots & lettuce with lots of ranch.
that is so funny – what a MESS!!! she is growing so well, we are worried because jack hasn’t gained since his 4 month, he is still only 13 lbs 7 oz at 6 months. so we started oatmeal cereal and avocado, next week we are starting the sweet potatoes – i also added a pumping session to get him an extra bottle – i feel all this has added SO much work, cleaning the pump, cleaning up, getting his food ready, highchair clean up – YIKES!!! but anything to get them to grow!!!
ps – phil and rick are EXACTLY the same about the veggies – (:
