Holy Little Miss Mischief. She is out of control.
I *just* read an article about giving your dog space with the new baby, to not let the baby interrupt mealtimes because dogs can be pretty territorial about their food. Apparently Cooper & Mallory haven’t gotten the memo, seeing as how Cooper stepped aside so Mallory could join him at his dinner table last night. Mallory thought it would be fun to pull Cooper’s water dish out of the stand, luckily it wasn’t full of water.
Mallory’s other new trick followed shortly after…”come to the bathroom to get ready for your bath!”, I called out to my pumpkinhead. Slap-slap-slap went Mallory’s hands as she crawled across the floor. I turned around, and found this:
I would be REALLY happy if she started using the potty but unfortunately I think right now she thinks she just found a fun new toy.
And lastly – a non-mischief picture –here’s Mallory in her new tshirt from ESPN in Chicago. This shirt is an 18-mo shirt. My kid is just 9-mos old. What is going on?
Here is some boring progress stuff that I need to document for future scrapbooking purposes: Mallory LOVES watermelon and would eat it until she turns into a watermelon. We’ve also started boca burgers, sweet corn cut from cob (which comes out in whole pieces in her poop!), cut up green beans and shredded chicken. It is so nice to be able to offer her some of our food during mealtimes for a little variety. But the watermelon has been a lifesaver: I give her a bunch after dinner and it allows me to get the kitchen cleaned up, toys organized in the living room, her bath started, etc.
We are headed up north this weekend with Gigi for Mallory’s first trip to Walloon and to show Mallory off to my aunt & uncle :-) Cross your fingers for warm weather!
