Crazy busy week around here. Wow. We haven’t had anything on the calendar but it seems like I haven’t had a chance to really sit down. Until now. Rick is off to hockey, Mallory is passed out in her crib, and I have 45 minutes til I should be in bed. There are a million things I should be doing…Pampered Chef stuff, putting laundry away, putting dishes away, scrapbooking (well, I shouldn’t be doing that but I want to be doing that), and here I sit, in front of the biggest time waster in our house…the computer. But I feel I deserve these few quiet moments!
But I have to post some fun Mallory news! She is MOVING – both crawling & “walking”. She will crawl from one end of the house to the other, following me EVERYWHERE. Rick laughs and warns her that I don’t like the dog being clingy, so to be careful. She also pulls herself up on everything, and just cruises along holding on to whatever. It is so fun to see her make these developments – everyday it’s something new. She pulls herself up on her little push toy – just a few weeks ago she was still wiping out behind that; we had to make sure it was up against the furniture because if she pushed it, her feet couldn’t keep up with the wheels and she’d face-plant. But now, we point her across the living room and off she goes, back & forth, it’s so funny.
The other new fun Mallory news is that she has learned how to do “SOOOOO BIG!!!!” when we ask her “How big is Mallory?” I don’t know why this cracks me up so much but I just LOVE it!!
Only 15 more minutes til bedtime so I should wrap up this post. I have to get a good night’s sleep to have energy for my pumpkinhead tomorrow!!
your little one is SUCH a star!! i can’t believe she is pushing that thing around -time to make jack do it – he pulls up and crawls like a maniac but hasn’t started pushing his walker yet – also i am immediately going to teach him so big! he doesn’t wave bye bye or clap either but we are working on it!!! we have the same high chair (:
so proud of your Mallory. Yeahhh. Can’t wait to get you and Hope together again and of couse Gracie if she ever decides to make her appearance.
