Mallory came out of her playroom with her sunglasses today; I velcroed them up for her. No further description necessary.

Mals & I got to see K & E and their twin babies J & A today. Mallory usually doesn’t stop saying BABY whenever she sees anyone smaller than her so I thought she’d get a big kick out of J & A. I think she was a little nervous with all the new faces because she was very quiet. But E was holding J and then I picked Mallory up so she could see A in the stroller, and she totally did a double-take, looking back at J and back at A – it was funny.

Rick returns tonight – flight lands in about 30 minutes. Don’t know if I’ll still be awake when he walks through the door but I’m sure he’ll wake me up when he gets home.

Addendum to “The Obvious Child” post below – the drums in the beginning of that song scared Mals the first time I played it but now it’s like her rally call – she drops what she’s doing and heads to her mark in front of the mirror, aka the dark TV screen to get down with her bad self.
