My sweet baby is sick. She threw up today for the first & second time in her short 16.9 mos of life. This is mildly irritating for a few reasons: 1) I’m missing our big monthly mandatory staff meeting at work for the second month in a row; 2) I have used a lot of sick time in one four-week period; and 3 ) we are supposed to go to the Wings-Blue Jackets game tonight.
But the bright sides are these: 1) I’m missing our big monthly mandatory staff meeting at work for the second month in a row; 2) I get a lot of sick time; 3) I am at home with a SLEEPING sick baby and I am SCRAPBOOKING!
I’ve talked before about my new Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter. I have always been good about getting pictures on paper, but adding titles has been my procrastinating- scrapping downfall. This is how I used to make my pages have titles:
Boring, eh?
Now, for the new & improved pages in my scrapbooks!!
Now I know my pages still aren’t magazine-contest-winning worthy but I am pretty impressed that I am actually FINISHING pages. So, for all my friends who have seen the late-night Cricut infomercials and asked me “so, have you ever heard of a thing called ‘Cricket’ for scrapbooking?” – why yes, I have heard of the Cricut. And this post is for you.
i LOVE it!!!! your pages are awesome! i will have to see the whole thing in person sometime – the same time i bring mine so you can fix it – (: i like jack’s book but i use a TON of collage style pages and i like the way yours look a lot better (: i just can never decide on the pics….
Isn’t it amazing how much better your pages are with the Cricut? I felt the same exact way. Simplicity at it’s best, but fast and easy. I love mine too. Got to get together sometime and scrap.
ok so i checked out your friend with twins blog – YIKES! i don’t know how my parents did it (: it looks like SUCH hard work but i am sure there are many special memories that i have from having a twin throughout life – boy and girl twins are the BEST (i am biased) because you are still individuals but you have this special thing! having one seems SO hard, i can’t imagine – but double the kisses, hugs, and love too so that sounds pretty good! have you seen jon and kate plus eight on tlc? 8 kids!!!
