coops, Mallory

Outside Baby

Keeping with her new obsession of wanting to be outside all the time – we immediately went outside after school yesterday. I figured Mallory would go up & down the slide and I could throw the ball for Cooper. But that lasted about 5 seconds, and then Mallory wanted to throw the ball for Cooper. And that didn’t work out so well since she couldn’t actually throw the ball using the ball launcher. Cooper was so good & patient for about a minute and then he just tried to chase the ball while in the ball launcher which pi$$ed Mallory off beyond belief.

and finally…with Rick’s football statue in our backyard. I’m so sure.

Here she is trying to stuff her baby in the trunk of her little car.
We don’t know where she learned this trick.

The weather was nice again today so we took Cooper for a long walk in the woods ~ this a good workout for me, carrying 28lbs on my back up & down the trails. Cooper really loves walks in the woods – he can be off the leash and just go crazy. I started singing a song while we were walking: “here we go, walking in the woods…walking in the woods…walking in woods” and Mallory was singing the backup vocals of “go…go…go…go…go…go”, it was so funny. We took a side trip on the trails and I let her out of the backpack. We walked about 20 yards in 10 minutes so I had to load her back up. LOL.

Mallory spent about 15 minutes tonight walking around with a crayon and a little piece of paper. I felt like she was taking notes on our house, the way she was just walking and scribbling.
