We had a big project today – we needed to finish installing the new storm door and Mallory wanted to help, which meant sitting on Rick’s lap while he drilled some holes. But we told her she needed safety glasses on if she was going to be that close to the drill, etc.

After some hard work installing the new storm door – Mallory & Rick made a smoothie. I guess Rick makes a smoothie every morning and as they drive to school, Mallory grunts from the back seat because she wants his smoothie. Today she & Rick shared one – except she kept stealing the straw from Rick.
