Mallory

A Day at Disney

We had a fabulous time at Disney today – the best part was spending time with Rick’s family – they live so far away that for them to be able to get quality time with Mallory is cool

Well, first things first – Mallory still doesn’t like the characters. When one came into her view, she would kick and squirm until I picked her up. Even then, if the character came close enough, she would start to whine and cry. But if I told her to say hi or blow a kiss, she would but then would go back to squirming and whining. And 9 times out of 10, a premature “BYE-BYE” would send the character on their way. It was HYSTERICAL. We ended up seeing Chip & Dale, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto.

We rode a few rides – the 40-minute wait for the Flying Dumbos was about 30 minutes longer than the 10-minute line for Space Mountain. We finished our day at Epcot – I’d never been but it was pretty cool.

If anyone is looking for a perfect time to go to Disney when there aren’t a lot of crowds…I highly recommend mid-May. The weather was great and the parks weren’t over-populated.

I had all sorts of fun post ideas building up in my head all day today but I am too tired to remember so I will sleep on it and see what I can remember. Peace.

Oh, here are all the pictures from today:
