We had a great last day in Florida. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool that had a poolside bar and the margaritas were on special ;-) There was a slide that wasn’t as user friendly as the one in Guam but I took Mallory down it a few times anyway. This pool area also had a little kiddie pool that was only 2 feet deep so we had fun in there. She is completely and utterly fearless when it comes to water (and reinforces that it is the pool that she doesn’t like at her new swim class, not the swimming part).
Our travel day home from Florida was a million times better than the way down, thank goodness.
We made it home yesterday in time for Michigan Softball’s first regional game and Grandpa went with us. After a slow start, Michigan mercied Wright State in five innings, courtesy of two grand slam home runs! Notre Dame was the victim this afternoon (also a mercy). They don’t play again until tomorrow – and hopefully only once – which would mean they won their regional ;-)
I am relaxing on the couch – I should be doing something productive since Mallory is blessing me with a long nap. Rick had to head into work so it’s just the girls tonight. Maybe we’ll go rent Finding Nemo since she got such a kick out of that ride at Epcot.
Very cute photo. I can’t believe how much you look like you sister here! :-) Hope you guys enjoyed your girls night together…
