Mallory

Just some stuff for the memory book

I have a few random stories that I need to get preserved before I forget them:

  • Mallory has started doing this little fake “haha!” when she’s playing. I must get it on video.
  • At the “bootball” game on Saturday, Mallory was making her little baby clap hands and give high-fives to my mom.
  • I am trying to get Mallory to actually say FOOTball and not BOOTball, so I’ll ask her to say foot, which she does, and then I ask her to say ball, which she does, but when I ask her to say FOOTBALL, she usually responds with BEETBALL – because normally she calls her feet “beet”.
  • Yesterday afternoon we had to give Lauren a ride home from daycare; the two girls were in the back of my car as I was strapping them in and they were both laughing hysterically at nothing. I told Lauren she was soooo funny and she laughed some more. Then Mallory yelled “ME FUNNY!!!” to make sure I knew she was funny too. Yes you are sweetie, yes you are.
  • About a month ago, Mallory & I started a game of fake sneezing. We will take turns saying “Ah-ah-ah-ah-CHOOO!” and the bigger and louder and longer the fake sneeze, the harder she will laugh. Last night on our way home from dinner, Mallory started up with the ah-ah-ah-CHOO and then said “ah-ah-choo, mommy!” so I did the fake sneeze, followed by her asking Gaya (her new version of Daddy) to do the ah-ah-choo, too, so he did. The entire rest of our drive home she kept saying “adain, mommy! adain, daddy!”. Adain means again and last night was the first time I’d heard her say it.

There are a couple of more funny things but they require pictures which are on the computer at home; plus lunch time is almost over so I have to hurry and publish this!
