Just some pictures from the weekend

No new stories, just some random pictures I wanted to share.

I saw a blog where a cool mom did a gingerbread house with her daughters using graham crackers and regular store icing. I thought that would be so fun to try and was full on planning to go the do-in-myself route, until I saw  a gingerbread house kit at Tar.get for cheap. Mallory had fun decorating the house but I won’t let anyone eat anything it for two reasons: 1) the gingerbread tastes HORRIBLE; and 2) Mallory was “accidentally” getting her fingers all in the frosting when she would place the candies and was constantly licking her fingers clean.

Um, yeah, not so great. I don’t think anyone will be surprised that I dumped this in the trash as soon as I took these pictures. I didn’t need all those candies dropping off and ending up in either Cooper or Mallory’s mouths.

With the snow we got on Friday – Rick & Mallory made snow angels. You’ll notice that Mallory didn’t want to do a full snow angel, so she just did her lower half. Rick, however, made a beautiful snow angel.

Lastly – Rick was supposed to have a 5.45p hockey game at the outdoor rink in town; but due to the extreme freezing cold temps (was 3* last I checked) and strong winds, they canceled the game and they are playing at 10.10p indoors instead. I can’t think of anything I would want to do bad enough that would require me to leave the house at 9p on a Sunday night when it is this freaking cold out. Am I just lazy?
