Uh oh. I *really* need to watch what I say around a VERY smart two-year-old who picks up EVERYTHING that you say.
Here is the video:
In case you can’t understand her, she told Cooper: “You go in your cage, Coopah. You bumming me.”
I’m assuming that “bumming” = “bugging” because when the dog is in super-clingy mode and following me everywhere and is constantly underfoot, I tell Cooper to go to his cage because he is bugging me. Good thing I don’t tell Cooper to go to his cage because he is “bugging the ever-loving-$hit out of me” anymore. That would be too much.

Another fun new thing that I have to get on video is Mallory calling me “Mommy-O!”. I call Rick “Daddy-O” once in a while and she picked up on that but on her own she came up with “Mommy-O”.

Mallory & I ran some errands yesterday, including going to the pet store to get Cooper a new dog tag (his old one is buried in the snow in either our backyard or my dad’s yard). While the dude was making the tag, Mallory and I checked out the Nyla.bones. I told her to pick one out, which she did with a very grown-up “dis one is good” commentary. But when I tried to put hers back (it was an edible kind and Cooper inhales those in less than five minutes and I wanted him to get a regular Nyla.bone), she said “No, not dat one. Dis one. Dis one is good” while forcing me to put mine back on the rack.
She is so funny when we go out – when I tell her to say hi or goodbye or thanks to someone, she ALWAYS turns to look right at their face to say her pleasantries. I am so proud of her. Oh, and she likes to say “good morning” and it doesn’t always have to be morning when she says it which makes it even funnier when she says it.
There is more but I am tired and fighting a cold (as is Rick) so I’m going to bed now. Only two more sleeps until Florida!
What FLORIDA???? You’re going??? Why would you want to escape this lovely place we live in??? I leave in 53 days, but who’s counting??? Have fun be safe.
