Overheard this weekend:
- Mallory & I bought a box of Girl Scout Cookies from some scouts at Lowe’s this weekend. After we got in the car, Mallory says “We got some cookies! HOO-RAY!!!!!” and made this funny face and gesture with her hands.
- Then we made a trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru. Mallory says “my french fries” and I said “no, MY french fries”. Totally serious she asks back “will you share?”.
- We never made it to the Wings-Blue Jackets game on Saturday. We drove all the way downtown, telling Mallory how we were going to take the train (aka People Mover) to the hockey game. Well, we got downtown and parked, and headed towards the People Mover station only to find out it was not working. It was pouring rain, and was too late to try to move the car and park closer to the arena. Plus, I wasn’t interested in hoofing it very far and my dad was nervous about me going into labor and/or having to carry Mallory so we just headed home. But poor Mallory kept telling us she wanted to go on the train to the hockey game. Yeah, sorry kid.
- I had a doctor’s appointment this morning and took Mallory with me so everyone could meet her. She was awesome and cute and so fun. But we ran into one of my docs in the hallway and I introduced him to Mallory. He said “wow, you are big!”. Mallory’s response: “No, Mommy is big”.
So, did you share?
