The birthday girl is ill. She threw up last night for the first time ever. I actually tried to catch it with my hands, instead of freaking out and running to the bathroom. Surprisingly, I didn’t throw up when she threw up.
She threw up a few mores times in the night, but seemed fine in the morning so we sent her to school (I had a big meeting at 9a that I didn’t want to miss). But when my meeting got out and I called daycare, they said she was pretty mopey so Rick rescued her. Then she threw up again outside of daycare. Ooops. I was *that mom* who sent her kid to school when sick. I seriously feel horrible about it. :-(
Mallory & I came home and she took a good power-nap and watched some movies when she woke up. Being that it’s her birthday, she’s supposed to give her paci to Carson today, because she is three and a big girl. I told Rick that I think she is just pretending to be sick so that we don’t take her paci away as scheduled.
Rick’s mom is here for Mallory’s birthday and we’ll open presents tonight. The game tomorrow is TBD, depending on how Mallory is doing.
I’m off to cook birthday pizza.
Happy Birthday sweet girl.
Happy birthday Mallory! Hope you feel better soon…and tell mommy that Carson won’t like pink pacis anyways :-)
