Here is my very un-mac-like attempt at a video montage of Mallory & her new bike. I hope you like the music – I will be using it for something more appropriate at a later date, I’m sure.
Month: April 2010
Nice hair, dude.
This is a lost video from the wintertime. Enjoy.
Check out this sighting!
Holy cow! A picture of Rick & me, together! This is fantastic because now in 50 years when my kids are showing their blog books to my grandkids, they will know what we looked like :-)
That’s what she said
I can’t believe how much I’m not blogging lately. Things have gotten really busy with my photography business, which is good because it justifies the photography gadgets I’d probably want to buy anyway, but it means I don’t have the energy to remember and record all the funny things my kids do and say. I need to get back on track with that, even if it means carrying around a little notebook to write them down.
But, here’s a funny from yesterday. Mallory wanted to carry in my laptop bag yesterday and told us that she is “super ‘trong” (super …
Park this
Just some pictures I took of my sweet girl at the state park near our house.
Ladybug, by Mallory
Mallory drew me this picture the other day. Do you know what it is?
Here’s the legend if you need help. She didn’t draw a U but other than that, she drew and then wrote LADYBUG.
Patty Cake
I think I never shared this!
Monkey
Here are some pretty horrible pictures of Mallory at rock-climbing class. I had to shoot through the window for most of these and then the times that I did have the door open, I had to quick snap before kids tried to escape. LOL. They’ll be back in the big gym next week so I’ll have a better opportunity to get some action shots.
LOVE THIS ONE!!!
Prob-ley
Tonight in the car, I asked Mallory if she did something (I can’t remember what it was right now). She said “Let me think, umm, prob-ley yeah. Well, umm, prob-ley yes.”
Also while driving, we were behind grandma white-hair who was going 10 MPH under the speed limit. I yelled “HURRY UP!!!”. Princess Sassy Pants says from the back seat “Mom, they can’t hear you”.
Rick & I aren’t allowed to say NO to Mallory anymore. Every time we do, she comes back with “It’s not nice to say no”. There are a million other things she tells us it’s not …
The one where Carson sleeps
* * * This is in no way intended to be a brag post. I am well aware we are lucky and all that jazz. This post is meant to be a memory of how our baby boy goes to sleep. It just so happens that he goes to sleep very VERY easily. And funnily. Carrying on. * * *
Sweet Carson is a fantastic go-to-bedder. When I was still nursing, he’d nurse for a bit at bedtime, then play for about 20 minutes, and then he’d let us put him right in bed and out he’d go. Same sort of …
