Carson is trying to communicate and say words. So far he’ll (sometimes) say “boo!” and I think he has a two-syllable word for Grandpa. There is also something rather consistent that I think he uses for “yes”. He’s getting better with signing “more” with his hands (usually after we ask if he wants more), and he is HUGE into shaking his head for “NO NO NO”. It doesn’t help that Mallory plays that game with him – she’ll say “NONONO” to him, and then laugh when Carson shakes his head back at her.
Mallory likes to give “butzie kisses” – this basically means that she will blow a raspberry on one cheek (making a “butzie” sound), and then give a kiss on the other cheek. She likes to give Carson buztie kisses on his arms and on his legs. So now Carson has taken to giving himself a butzie kiss on his hands, which is really cute, except when it’s not cute if he does it with a mouth full of food.
My boy likes to blow kisses now too. I’m trying like mad to get this on video.
But the best thing? My boy is RUNNING. And there is nothing cuter than seeing my sweet little still-somewhat-bow-legged, towheaded boy running around the house, giggling all the way (usually being chased by his sister or his grandpa).
I am a happy mama.
a video of those little bow-legged, towheaded boy, giggling all the way would be next on the list of things to do?
