I know I might portray my kids as being sunshine and fairy tales all day every day. Truth be told, they get along pretty well most of the time.
So when this happened today, my first response was that I needed to take a picture so that I could document my kids fighting.
I think it started because Carson wanted to sit on the little bench, and then Mallory decided she wanted to too, and then Carson decided he did NOT want his sister to sit next to him, because then Mallory started hollering “CARSON ISN’T SHARING”. (These pictures aren’t great because I was sort of laughing too hard to hold the camera still).
Carson was probably grumpy because it was close to his naptime so I put down the camera and asked if he wanted to nap. He whimpered yes, and let me pick him up. On my way up the stairs, Mallory asked if I could turn the TV on for her.
Um no. You were just screaming because you wanted to sit on that bench. I got your brother to stop pushing you. You can sit on the bench for a while.
She was still there 5 minutes later when I came back from putting Carson down for his nap.
And – you might want to make sure your speakers aren’t turned up for this one:
LMAO….Kids will be kids.
Thank goodness their human
