Blah.
Let me start by saying that the cowbells were obnoxious before we even got to the tailgate. The Mississippi State fans were ringing them all around downtown Jacksonville for days leading up to the game.
We had the nicest weather of the week for gameday – I made sure to sunscreen up the kids and we headed off to the stadium with the standard police escort. And nope, still doesn’t get old.
Some friends from home were down for the game and had a tailgate that the kids & I stopped by. The beer (for me) and hotdogs (for the kids) were awesome. There was a tailgate nearby that was taking up four spots – and they had like four dudes at the tailgate. But the had a huge tent, couch, TV, and music.
Carson’s interpretation of “Let’s Get It Started”, by the Black Eyed Peas.
Carson trying to make a D with his fingers, for Denard, because he saw Bryce do it. SO FUNNY.
She didn’t want to take off her eyeblack even when we were going to bed that night…Rick & I had to hold her down to pull them off.
The game was bad. We stayed until the end and it was sad. I am sad that I am going to have to say goodbye to some nice women I’ve become friends with over the past three years. Rick still has a job but there is a chance that could change depending on who the new coach is. So the next couple of days (week? weeks?) will be a little nerve-wracking – so cross your fingers/toes/eyes/whatever for us, eh?
A Hint??? Does the “eh?” mean that you may be moving to a Canadian football team?
