I usually make Carson’s hair up into a mohawk after his baths – he laughs and Mallory laughs and it’s fun.
Combing his hair this morning – I started to wet it down and then he requested a “Mo-awk”. I got out the pomade or styling gunk or whatever it’s called from under the sink and tried to get it to stand up. It’s too long to really hold the mohawk – unless I sprayed it with hair spray and I had gotten enough dirty looks from Rick when I pulled out the styling pomade stuff so I chose to not make it worse with hair spray.
But he was so proud of his hair this morning. I’m anxious to see how it looks when I pick him up from school. I’m imagining it will look more greasy than mohawk-y.
I am deciding that he definitely needs a haircut – I can’t deal with the so-long-it-almost-looks-like-a-bowl-cut thing he has going on right now. We will be getting a haircut after school TODAY.
So So So precious
Elmer’s glue and a blow dryer (it washes out really easy and conditions your hair). I know, but that’s what I used to use and it would kept an 8″ mohawk up for a 4 hour punk show.
