Month: November 2011
Missing…
I know I’ve been pretty MIA here lately, and for that I apologize. Things have been hectic what with the holiday and Michigan *FINALLY* beating that team from Ohio.
I’ll be back soon with pictures and updates galore.
GO BLUE!
Conferences
Remember back in September I told you about how Rick asked if Mallory’s conferences were the week of Ohio State?
Well, that week is here, and we had conferences yesterday.
This is going to sound like a braggy post, and I’m not going to apologize for it. I don’t know if kindergarten teachers just aren’t supposed to give negative feedback, or if Mallory is just *that good*. I kept waiting to hear “she’s really cute/smart/whatever, but…”. But we never heard anything bad.
I guess Mallory had a rough go at the beginning of the school year. Apparently she wasn’t very interested in following …
Win #9
(I’m writing this post over a month late but again posting in the right spot. Oh well.)
The Nebraska Cornhuskers came to the Big House for the first time in November.
We beat them.
Go BLUE.
Carson got impatient and took off ahead of us for the gates.
What? I have to wait for you?
Love my Michigan girl.
Oh hey. What’s up?
What? TWO good pictures of Malsy & me??
Nice photobomb, Grandpa. And, Grandpa – since you’re going to ask me what “photobomb” means – click here: photobomb
Little Michigan Riding Hood got silly near the end of the game.
Line ‘em up.
So I’ve written about how Carson likes to line up his football guys and it’s hysterical. Here are some not very good pictures (see how the green is different in each picture [not to mention the dog hair on the football field]? I couldn’t show these to a client…) plus some video of Carson lining up his guys.
Please forgive the messy house. I had it semi-organized today and then we spent a whole day at home watching football. I can’t control them.
Photographer’s Daughter
You know your mom is a photographer when you answer “make pictures” when asked what you did to get ready for kindergarten.
Football Observations from a 2-yr old
Carson: “CHESSS BUPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!” (chest bump).
Football Observations from a 5-yr old, #3
Illinois was on offense and when they broke the huddle, Mallory said “they are talking how to win”.
I asked her to repeat it (so I could write it down), and she asked “are you writing about it for facebook?”
and
“If he and he (two Illinois guys) tackled each other – it wouldn’t make sense because they are on the same team!”
Football Observations from a 5 yr old #2
Mallory: “OOOOOH YEAH WE’RE WINNING”
Football Observations from a 5 yr old
Mallory: “Does (sic) all of the other bad teams want to do something bad to Denard?”
Me: “Yes”
Mallory: “But then our guys want to save him?”
And who says it’s not fun to watch football with your kids?
