Mallory brought this home yesterday. I love her.
Notice her use of hyphens at the end of the word thanksgiving (twice).
Ignore that she spelled her own name wrong at the end, and the multiple other errors. She is grounded this weekend for those. I’m totally kidding.
Month: November 2012
Catching up ~ August 2012
OK, I am literally going to write a post to [try to] catch up on the last 3 months. Three months of football season + three months of a bajillion photo shoots = three months of craziness.
Here we go:
We spent lots of summer time at the pool – it helped that it was hotter than hades this summer and that we were able to join Georgetown Country Club this summer.
Carson learned how to swim:
and go off the diving board (he would do this for as long as someone would catch him) – and it’s fun to go back and watch …
Happy Golden Birthday, Mallory!
Mallory turns six today. She asked last night at bedtime if she turned six at midnight – I told her that if she wanted to get technical, she wasn’t really six until 8:11p on November 6.
I think she chose to be un-technical about it.

Sweetness
After a challenging two days, Mallory showed me some of her sweet side tonight. Rick and I had a party to go to and the kids stayed home with a sitter. I just got home and moved Mallory to Rick's side of the bed and she stirred and asked me sleepily with a smile: “are you home from your party?” I told her yes and she closed her eyes and went right back to sleep.
Love. It totally makes up for wanting to lock her in her room today :-)

How Denard travels
Rick was at the airport tonight heading to Minnesota; Mallory asked him if Denard was on the truck or if he was flying.
I don't know why it was so funny to me, but it was.

If Rick blogged here
If Rick blogged here, he might tell you this story (sent to me in an email):
Carson said Cwaig Woh was playing on his field. I asked him what number and he said 88. See there is an 8 and an 8.
