Carson

My baby is FOUR

Holy moly, guacamole. As much as I try to bribe and cajole my kids into not getting older/bigger/sassier, it keeps on happening. The most recent milestone was my sweet baby boy turning FOUR yesterday.

Carson’s well-child appointment isn’t until next week so I can’t report on his physical stats, but I can surely fill you in on the rest of him.

I am feeling lazy so I’ll just bullet point:

  • He is a basketball junkie these days. He plays in the basement constantly and is begging someone to play with him constantly. He & Rick have four set plays (sometimes five but Rick doesn’t know what the fifth one is).
  • It helps to be a basketball junkie with Michigan heading to the Final Four this weekend. Carson can name most of the players, he yells when there are turnovers and he yells really loudly when there are slam dunks.
  • The Easter Bunny brought him a new mini-basketball. He’s been dribbling that around and says that he is pwacticing for his theathon (practicing for his season).
  • He got a new hockey guys set for his birthday because he lost the goalies from the set he got last year at Christmas. He told me that he left them at the football stadium locker room when I was there taking pictures of his friend Ben and that Denard & Devin probably have them. So we got him a new set of hockey guys so he has goalies again. But every time he plays, it’s my hockey team against Rick’s and I always lose. Rick’s hockey team always seems to get four goals every time they get a goal. I tried saying it wasn’t fair but he didn’t want to listen to me.
  • I need to do his 4 year interview. Stay tuned.
