Michigan softball is in the World Series and due to some tornados in Oklahoma City, the games got switched around and Michigan was scheduled to play their second game at 9.30p ET last night. But then due to the 7p game going 15 innings, Michigan’s game didn’t start until 1a. I had fallen asleep and woke up in the 2nd inning, just in time to see us take a 2-0 lead that went the distance (thanks to a home run by the best home runner). I tried to wake the kids up to watch the end (at 3.30a) but they were worn out (a long day after a late night Friday night freaking out about Rick being in the middle of the tornados).
Anyway, the point of the story is that when I told Carson that we won last night, and told him the score, he smiled and asked “so we totally won?”
Haha – yes we did. We totally won. Totally.
