So, Rick & I have a pretty sweet little girl. She started 2nd grade in September. Here she is on her first day of second grade, which also happened to be the first day of the last year that she would be at her current school. While checking out this picture, be sure to notice the super awesome cobwebs on our siding on the right side of this picture.
This little 6-yr old girl was missing teeth and didn’t like jeans or tennis shoes. But she was excited about starting second grade.
And then there is this 7-yr old girl. She has no missing teeth (and barely any loose ones!) and talks about how she is going to need braces. Slow your roll there, sweet cheeks. Mallory had another wonderful teacher this past year and moves on to a new school for third grade. Hopefully she left our name in good standing at her old school, seeing as how Carson will be invading in the fall and it will be helpful to have some folks looking out for him there.
I am not showing you the picture of me with Mallory from the first day of school because apparently I subscribe to the “wear the same thing on the first day of school and last day of school” club and it’s sort of nerdy when you are in your 40s.
